The Spiritual Challenge of "Seek Only the Truth"

Exploring and experiencing the energies of the sixth chakra bring us to a place of highest wisdom and awareness of ourselves and the mysteries of life. The energies from this point at the center of our foreheads (and also the surrounding area) pulsate and spin at a vibratory level that can be defined as pure quantum leaps occuring simultaneously and continually.

The challenge of this center is to keep it open and active, since it shuts down when we are in fear and not in faith. When we are in fear, or deeply attached to an illusion or false belief, or identified with something toxic, the "doors" to our chakras slam shut. They stop spinning and slow down like a washing machine that has too full a load. They may even start thumping from imbalance (headaches).

This chakra has a drive to keep us awake and "looking" at the truth about ourselves. When we consciously embrace this chakra's true purpose as a clear channel for wisdom, and a channel for Divine wisdom, then we become lanterns to the world and others look to us for guidance and illumination of their pain and suffering. Mother Theresa is a wonderful example of this. You do not need to be a priest or bodhisattva to hold your lantern high. The simple act of meditating quietly can change your world and everything around you!

Exploring and Experiencing Being a Guide to Others

Day 6

Morning session:
Now we are totally in the realm of the spirit and accessing our highest powers in human form. In this session we will spend time meditating and then painting a giant mandala using the Tibetan technique of first making a mental mandala and then transferring it into sand or some other surface to hold its power and energies.

Afternoon session:
We will meditate on our mandalas to classical music, Bach's Preludes and Fugues, which were channneled at the frequency of the sixth chakra. We will explore the physical knowledge about the pineal gland and its purpose, and also do a guided meditation to activate this gland as the center of awareness and enlightenment. We will begin to activate our light bodies through breath work. Some hands-on healing will be explored as well, using Reiki as a background.

Receiving the Blessing of Ordination

Evening session:
This session culminates in a sacred ritual of Ordination as we celebrate our guidance from above and our ability to light the way for others. We will be going to the hot springs and immersing in a special mineral bath to mirror and acknowledge our spiritual immersion in Divine Light. We will have a candle ceremony to recognize that we are now lights to the world and connected to all other beings through our light bodies and theirs.
