Sample Reading

This sample reading below is from an actual reading done recently for a client—a birthday reading during which the questioner asked for the general wisdom of the cards for the next twelve month period.

We used the incredibly potent and detailed Crowley deck for the Tarot reading. The client also pulled an Animal Medicine Card from the Jamie Sams deck to focus his thoughts and to begin the process—he selected the Snake, whose medicine is "transmutation and renewal," and the Tarot reading's Final Outcome was "Death/Transformation," reaffirming the life lesson that the questioner will work through and master during the next year.

Because the reading of the cards is specific to that individual, the interpretation also cannot be taken as a literal translation of the cards' symbolic content. The summary and my interpretation of the individual cards and the entire spread involve a psychic connectivity to the questioner at that particular time.

In this case the client had a sychronous experience within 48 hours of the session: he "lost" a cherished bracelet to which he had been very attached(!) with a silver icon on it that represented "letting go." The "letting go" is a central life lesson in this reading.
