Mandalas for Everyone: Experiencing the Ojo de Dios (God's Eye)
Using Mandalas as a Map for Self-Discovery and Contemplation Mandalas bring us out of suffering and to a place of reflection and insight; they can provide a means of dialogue with ourselves in a non-intellectual way that offers deep peace and rest from the stress of contemporary life and its fast pace and endless commitments. For the Huichol peoples of northwestern Mexico, the God's Eye is symbolic of the power of seeing and understanding that which is unknown and unknowable, The Great Mystery. For many of us the practice of making mandalas becomes a daily practice of staying in-tune and in touch with our subconscious and the deepest aspects of Self. And the act of preparing for, drawing, and engaging with your own mandala can be gratifying, satisfying, fun! This day-long workshop will involve entering the mandala "space" to explore the emergent YOU—and a place of healing and gentle restoration.
